Jonesboro, Ga. (May 04, 2017) – The Heritage Community Foundation presented a $2,500 grant to Sabrina Crawford, Founder of GiGi’s House for the purchase of laptop computers for the residents of the new facility. GiGi’s House is dedicated to providing a safe home for girls 13 to 19 years old who are victims of sex trafficking. In addition to a safe faith-based housing environment, GiGi’s House provides educational services, therapy, mentoring life-skills coaching and encouragement to girls victimized by sex trafficking.
“We are excited to partner with GiGi’s House to provide educational resources for their residents” said Mark Dose, Executive Director of the Heritage Community Foundation. “GiGi’s House will directly and positively impact the lives of teenage girls that want to escape the horrible circumstance of sex trafficking and exploitation. GiGi’s House is designed as a place of hope and help for these young women that are trapped in this horrific life.”
