Heritage Community Foundation Presents a Grant Rocky Creek Elementary School

Jonesboro, Ga. (May 25, 2017) – The Heritage Community Foundation presented a $382.50 grant to Kimberleigh Taylor of Rocky Creek Elementary School to fund supplemental educational materials to help 4th and 5th grade students study history more deeply.

“The Heritage Community Foundation is glad to be able to provide these students more access to interactive curriculum,” said Kerry Arnold, Board Chair of the Heritage Community Foundation. “This is an investment in the future for the 4th and 5th graders at Rocky Creek Elementary School”.

Heritage Community Foundation (HCF) is a 501c3 organization which provides funding to local nonprofit organizations in Clayton, Henry and Fayette counties. HCF is designed to support Heritage Bank’s first mission, “Committed to those we serve.” Heritage Bank absorbs all of the operating costs of the foundation, so 100% of the funds raised go directly to meet community needs.

In addition to the support from Heritage Bank, a number of other local businesses support the HCF through their partnership in the HCF Community IMPACT Club.
