Heritage Community Foundation Presents Grant to Life Radio Ministries, Inc. (NewLife.FM)

Jonesboro, Ga. (June 12, 2015) – The Heritage Community Foundation presented a grant to Joseph Emert, President of Life Radio Ministries, Inc. (NewLife.FM) in Griffin on June 4, 2015. The $2,820 grant will used by NewLife.FM to go towards their purchase of a new transmitter. The station’s current transmitter was purchased in 1994 at a cost of $25,870 and has been operating non-stop for 20 years. A new digital transmitter costs $46,700 and will enable the station to continue service to the area.

NewLife.FM is a Christian radio station with music and programs which provide inspiration and Bible teaching as well as family-oriented programming. The station also broadcasts news and weather and airs public service announcements for non-profit events and organizations. The station has been on the air for twenty years on 90.7 FM, Locust Grove in Henry County. It is also on the air on 91.7 FM in Peachtree City. The station has a tower in Fayette County as well as Henry County.
